Here's an explanation and step-by-step guide you can follow to use the Big Bang Promotions & Marketing and XE.com "Currency Converter" - the link for which is above and to the right.

First up....

Go to the website address http://www.BBPMOnline.com/xe.htm . Just click on the link if you need to get there from this page.

You should at the least see this on your computer screen.

Step 1

Type the amount (whatever it is - the currency does not matter) that you want to convert, into the far left-hand side field (the one that is circled).
i.e. I want to know what $1 dollar Australian is in US dollars. So you would type "1" into the far left-hand side field (box).

Step 2

In the middle section, select from the list the currency that this amount is currently in.
i.e. In this example I would select Australian dollars because I want to convert the amount into US dollars - to find out how much $1 AU is in US dollars.

Step 3

In the right-hand side section, select from the list the currency that you want to convert the amount into.
i.e. In my example I want to convert the amount of $1 AU into US dollars - so in this section I would select US dollars.

Step 4

Now go to the "Click Here to Perform Currency Conversion" button at the bottom (circled in the picture below) and with the mouse "left click" (normal click) on this button.

Step 5

The results screen you see below is the screen you should be seeing now. This results screen tells us that on the 9th of April 2005, AU$1 (One dollar of Australian money) is worth US$0.772439 dollars (Seventy-seven point two, four, three, nine US cents) in US money. 

Example

On the screen below you can see an example of where I followed the steps above and converted AU$47 (Forty-seven Australian dollars) into the equivalent $US dollars amount.

I typed in 47 (it was the amount I wanted to convert) and selected the appropriate "FROM" and "TO" currencies and then clicked the button to perform the currency conversion.

The result of my conversion is....

I found out that AU$47.00 was the same value as US$36.3047 to be exact - or in rounded figures US$36.31 - on the 9th April 2005.
i.e. if I was in the US it would cost me only $36.31 US dollars for a $47.00 Australian priced item.
